Jeff Escabar is an experienced educator, serving in his 43rd year in education that has included teacher, Director of Admission and Head of School. Jeff’s career began at Marin Country Day School (36 years) where he served as a teacher and ultimately Director of Admission. He is currently in his seventh year as Head of Spanish Infusion School (formerly Marin Preparatory School) in San Francisco. Jeff is past President of the Board of the national Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (A.I.S.A.P.) and frequently presents to educators on enrollment management topics: ethics in admissions, elementary assessment and standards and competencies. Jeff has served as a consultant to several Independent School Boards and currently serves on the board of Saint Luke’s School (SLS) in San Francisco. Jeff has spoken at the ERB Conference, AISAP Annual Summer Institute among others. Jeff’s guiding principle is to ask the question, “Is the decision I am about to make in the best interest of our students.” He also loves tap dancing.
