Evan Kanouse is a trustee of Mizzentop Day School in Pawling, New York. First hired as a teacher, Evan led a series of initiatives that increased enrollment and rescued the school from closure. With sparse resources and a small team, he used creativity and strategy to establish Mizzentop’s brand and grow the school. Today, he is the chair of the Institutional Advancement Committee at Mizzentop and teaches Technology at Greenwich Country Day School in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Evan has a bachelor’s degree from Bard College and a master’s degree from Fordham University. He also has graduate certificates in nonprofit management and digital marketing from Cornell University.
